The EBWPC meets at 9 am the third Thursday of every month.
Location alternates between Torrance County Courthouse, Estancia NM; and
Mangum Steel Building, Moriarity NM.

$7,500 Grant Award
The EBWPC has received a $7,500 Water Quality and Conservation Grant to assist with data summary and presentations based on the EBWPC’s on-going water level monitoring program. Look for these presentations at SWCD events, County fairs, and other community organizations.
Water Level Monitoring Program in the Estancia Basin
The EBWPC has contracted with HydroResolutions, Inc. to conduct water level monitoring in the Estancia Basin. If you are interested in having your well monitored as part of this program, please contact Cheri Lujan at (505) 384-2272 Ext 103.
EBWPC Member Vacancy
EBWPC Members are appointed by various participating agencies. The EBWPC has member position vacancies on an infrequent basis. If you have an interest in serving, please contact the EBWPC Chairman to discuss possible upcoming vacancies.

MRCOG Resolution
The Water Resources Board of the Mid-Region Council of Government’s (MRCOG) passed a resolution on July 13th concerning state and regional policies dealing with water supply issues. The Estancia Basin is represented on the Water Resources Board by six government entities within the Basin. The EBWPC is not a member of the MRCOG Water Resources Board but would like to call particular attention to Item 2 of the resolution in which the Water Resources Board calls upon itself to “develop strategies for local governments to select alternative actions for implementation based upon the needs of the community.
